Client Problem

Operating in a constrained supply environment, client was focused on alleviating the pressure from limited material availability, constrained labor supply, and supplier allocation. This process project aimed at short term solutions around the O2C process and allocation planning for the HSBU units (Home Stand by Units – a large portion of their residential business segment).

SCMC Solution

After weeks of stakeholder interviews, plant and DC tours, and utilization of prior improvement initiatives SCMC recommended six short term process improvements around Order Management and Production Scheduling.

Results

Client stakeholders are in agreement of the six recommendations presented by SCMC which aimed to decrease order to cash cycle time, remove stagnate inventory at stocking locations, and establish an effective S&OP process and increase forecasting accuracy.
