Client Problem
The Client was looking to build one collaborative environment to support the three different business units with differentiating demand planning processes. Each business unit was also looking to improve their forecast accuracy and improve the effectiveness of their post-forecast analysis.
SCMC Solution
SCM Connections implemented SPARK Demand Planning for each of the business units within a single planning area to enable interactive demand planning across business units. The solution allowed enhanced automation throughout the entire demand process, scheduling separately and at multiple levels for each business unit as well as reduced the amount of manual oversite needed overall.
Results
Enabled the integration of various companies with demand forecasting in a single system, considering varying models of forecasting, analysis, and demand schedules.
