Client was looking to begin their IBP journey by implementing S&OP and Demand Modules quickly so they could understand the baseline functionality of IBP as a tool to manage their S&OP Process moving forward. They also wanted to connect their new S4 Hana System to IBP to integrate their Master Data and Transactional Data.

SCM Connections recommended starting off with IBP’s Best Practices (Rapid Deployment Solution) baseline functionality for S&OP and Demand with baseline data integration using SAP’s Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services. This technical solution package was implemented in four months, which included training and knowledge transfer.

Client now has a baseline foundation for implementing and driving their S&OP process using IBO S&OP Module, while leveraging the advanced statistical forecast algorithms in the Demand module.
