Client Problem
The client was looking for a singular S&OP planning tool to integrate data from various source systems and to assist with planning across over 25 product categories and 35 plants and their corresponding distribution centers.
SCMC Solution
SCMC implemented IBP S&OP to harmonize the planning process network-wide across categories. The solution provided users with enhanced scenario planning, version management, and the ability to look at data in volume and dollars. Planners are now able to efficiently change and review their demand, supply and inventory positions at both the category and SKU level, and further; the dynamic analytics allow them to quickly prepare for monthly S&OP meetings.
Results
Implemented IBP S&OP to provide a harmonized S&OP planning tool across the organization and configured enhanced reporting capabilities to provide deeper visibility into the S&OP reviews.
